About Michelle M. Turner

Michelle M. Turner is an internationally recognized leader in functional movement science, biomechanics, and applied physics. As the creator of Movement Lesson™ and founder of Turner NextGen AI, she has spent decades studying how the human body organizes motion under the fundamental forces of gravity, rotation, buoyancy, and structural balance.

 

Her work bridges disciplines that are rarely connected, from early childhood development and rehabilitation to elite athletic performance and human adaptation to extreme environments. Through this research, Michelle developed a framework for understanding movement not simply as a series of joint positions or mechanical outputs, but as an organized system governed by physical forces.

This framework became the scientific foundation for Turner NextGen AI, an emerging artificial intelligence platform designed to analyze how movement systems function beneath the surface of observable motion.

Michelle’s work continues to influence healthcare, sports performance, and emerging technologies that seek to better understand how the human body moves, adapts, and performs.
